The Northwest Louisiana Film Trail highlights over 30 different sites where films were shot in the Shreveport-Bossier and Minden areas. Each location has a sign posted describing the scene and the production. So many major motion pictures, television series, commercials and other film projects have taken advantage of the natural diversity and Hollywood friendly attitude of northwest Louisiana that it has earned the nickname “Hollywood South.”
