Alabama is located in the southeastern United States, bordered by Mississippi to the west, Tennessee to the north, Georgia to the east and Florida and the Gulf of Mexico to the south.
It is easily accessible via all major modes of transportation, including air, train, bus and car travel.
Interstate highways I-65 and I-20 run the length and width of Alabama. I-10, I-85, I-59 and I-22 also run through parts of the state.
